The 70th Annual Dorian Vocal Festival
January 12-13, 2020

Each year, Luther College invites choral directors to nominate outstanding high school junior and senior vocalists to attend the Dorian Vocal Festival - the largest choir festival in the Midwest! Approximately 1,100 students will be accepted into the Festival Choir. One hundred of those students will also be selected to form a Chamber Choir, which rehearses a day before the Festival Choir.    

Following Saturday/Sunday rehearsals for the Chamber Choir and Sunday/Monday rehearsals for the Festival Choir, the Festival concludes on Monday evening with a Grand Concert, featuring the Festival Choir, the Chamber Choir, five high school soloists, and a performance by the Luther College Nordic Choir.
